ACCESSIBILITY FOR EVERYONE

We're committed to making our venue welcoming and accessible for all. That’s why we regularly review our facilities to ensure they meet the needs of every visitor.

CAR PARKING

Car parking is free and is open at all times. It is a private, open-air car park.  There is space for cars and other large vehicles. There is no height restriction. There are 4 Blue Badge spaces available. Blue Badge spaces do not need to be booked in advance. The parking bays are gravel. 

MOVING AROUND THE SITE

 There is easy slope access to reach our main cafe, gift shop and plant nursery. The counters are moderate to high, however we have long-reaching card machines and are happy to accommodate payment. The main entrance to the cafe is uncovered however next to the entrance we have a covered veranda and on very busy days customers may have to queue.  There are benches and seating available outside of the cafe. Any visitors requiring additional information should not hesitate to ask our staff members to help make the most of their visit.

All areas from parking into the main site are accessible by wheelchair.

TOILETS

There are toilets available in the Coo Shed Cafe including offering a disabled option and baby changing facilities. The disabled toilets are clearly signposted. There is easy sloped access from inside the cafe and level access from outside. Each entry has a single-width door that opens towards you. The disabled toilets have a twist lock. The cubicles have a twist lock.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

There is level access. We have a no smoking policy however smoking can take place in the bike byer at the entrance of the property. We ask that all cigarette ends are extinguished and disposed of properly. In the event of an emergency evacuation, staff will be on hand to assist and direct customers to the nearest evacuation point at the end of the car park.
